Nannie

What is nannie?

The basic idea behind nannie was to write a program that watches certain files
that (at least in theory) should never change, nor be "touched". When it starts
it reads through a list of file names (stored in /etc/nannie.cfg by default)
and creates a linked list of information (via stat) about these files. All
it does after that is to periodically check these files and make sure that the
various values have not changed.

This software is released under the GPL, and has no guarrantees whatsoever.
In other words, if it secretly does an rm -rf * on your root partition, we
take no responsibility. 8)

See INSTALL for installation information.

Ok, so why is it spelled Nannie insteda of Nanny?

Um, well, honestly, because I'm designing a logo for it, and it needed
an "i". Believe it or not, I can spell for the most part. ;)
