What is it?
-----------

This small distribution of scripts allows you to use compiled fwbuilder
scripts and run them automatically on system startup. It does so, by
providing a firewall service, which integrates into the service
infrastructure of SuSE 8.1 (8.0 should work too, but is untested).

Installing
----------

Execute fw_install as root.

The install script performs the following tasks:
* Create directory /etc/firewall/ (home of compiled fwbuilder script)
* Install sysconfig file to /etc/sysconfig/firewall
* Install firewall service into /etc/init.d/
* Create runlevel symlinks via 'insserv firewall' (runlevel 3+5)

You have to copy your firewall script to '/etc/firewall/'.
Edit the file '/etc/init.d/firewall' and modify the name
of your script in the variable fw_script.

Changes
-------

The changes according to version 1.21 of the script for SuSE 7.1/7.2

  - Reload now allows to run $fw_script without stopping (safer)
