To install Xaw-Xpm, do the following:

- Untar the archive into a convenient place.
** If compiling yourself **
- cd to XawXpm, and run 'make' (Supplied Makefile is for Linux)
** endif compiling yourself :) **
- Copy libXaw3d.so.6.0 into wherever your current libXaw.so.6.0 is. You should
  also rename it to libXaw.so.6.0.
- Run 'ldconfig -v' as root.
- cd to the pixmaps/ directory and copy all the xpm files into the directory
  /usr/include/X11/pixmaps
- Run 'xrdb -merge ./defaults-XawXpm' (in the XawXpm directory)
- Run Xaw apps..enjoy! :)
- If Xaw apps segfault, you may need to re-compile them. This should only
  affect a few apps.
- You should also copy the X11/Xaw3d/*.h files into /usr/include/X11/Xaw/
otherwise programs compiled with this lub will crash, due to different
header files. Also if compiling from scratch (xmkmf), you need to
  copy the .h files.
- Make a symlink from /usr/include/X11/Xaw3d to /usr/include/X11/Xaw
